Power of Attorney

For Egyptian nationals ONLY:

 REQUIRES TO BE DONE IN PERSON AT THE CONSULATE Premises

Requirements:

  1. A valid EGYPTIAN document (Passport or National Identification card)
  2. Full details of the person for whom the Power of Attorney is to be made.
  3. Contract of ownership if applicable or Car driving license (for vehicles).
  4. In case of revoking your current Power of Attorney, some of them need attendance of BOTH sides: the grantor/ donor and attorney/ agent, please send a copy of this power of attorney by email: info@egyptconsulate.co.uk for consultancy.
  5. Fee of GBP47

 

For Non-Egyptians: The Consulate do not issue Power of Attorney, it only legalises them.

Requirements:

  1. Consult your solicitor or Notary public to prepare the Power of Attorney
  2. Legalise it from the Foreign & Commonwealth and Development
  3. Follow the procedures for “Legalisation of Documents”.
  4. Proof of ownership (in case of selling Properties or Vehicles) and driving Licenses (in case of selling Vehicles) for Egyptians Only.

N.B. If the Power of Attorney is for commercial use, the fees are GBP125, otherwise the fees are GBP47.
